Ministry Support
If you are interested in helping Gateway Camp, volunteers are needed for the
following list of projects or if you would like to help out financially, the following items on
the wish list and big projects are needing help financially. If you would like to help out or want
more information please call Rebecca Roberts at 618-664-2873 or 618-553-9225.
Projects:
-build a wall and move cabinetry for the First Aid Station
-construct new playground equipment
-build a wall and install 2 egresses in the basement of Young Lodge for dorms
-reroof the snack shop
-stain various buildings and decks
-install bed rails in each youth cabin
-repair floors and porches on youth cabins
-paint interior of youth cabins
-stain and seal floors of youth cabins
-stain and seal porches of youth cabins

-30 Lifetime 60" round tables ($100.00 each)
-full-grown, ready to butcher cow and pig
-10 Lifetime 8' rectangular tables ($100.00 each)
-4 Lifetime table carts ($ each)
-300 Lifetime contoured folding chairs ($20.00 each)
-5 Lifetime chair carts ($ each)
-10 Lifetime folding picnic tables ($ each)
-5 Lifetime Gliders ($ each)
-130 new mattresses for youth cabin bunk beds ($ each)
-new sports equipment (tetherballs, cage balls, disc golf game, funnelball, parachute, etc.) ($1000.00)

Registration postcards have been sent out reminding all campers that it is time to register online for this summer's camps. There are two discount deadlines this year: $15 off is you register by March 31 and $10 off if you register by May 10. Be sure to invite someone to camp this summer!

REACHING OUT !

The theme for this summer is: Reaching Out! We will be focusing on the many ways that God reaches out to us and then looking at how we can reach out to others in the Name of Jesus! We are collecting money for Clean Water for Haiti again this summer, so plan to be generous in the same way that God has been generous to us!

Online Registration Problems

Staff in Training (SIT) Information (Formerly CIT)
|

|
The Staff in Training program allows those who are interested in working at the camp in the future, a chance to gain some experience in the various jobs at the camp. The SIT program is open to those who will be a freshman in high school in the upcoming fall. There is no pay for this position and there are limited spots.
